ACCESS CONTROL

Access Control is a means of monitoring and restricting access to buildings in general or specific areas within buildings e.g. security offices, vaults, areas containing hazardous products etc. Through the use of voice and/or visual means (video) the user can identify who is requesting access and then decide whether or not to permit that person entry. Access Control can also be used to allow certain users access via a secure keycode, infrared key fob (remote control) or swipe card. Access Control is also a sophisticated management facility incorporating time in attendance.

In addition to general Access Control systems, Alertline also provide automatic gates and barriers. These have a variety of uses, from general security to restricted access. Again these can be accessed via a variety of means similar to those listed above.
